Job Description/Duties of Ziladar:

Zilladar appointed in the irrigation department and he is responsible for the collection of revenue of Canal Water usage by the farmers of his area and responsible for the resolution of disputes relating to water usage and similar matters of his area of authority.

Required Qualification:

• BA/Bsc with Second Division or equivalent degree holder may apply

Promotion Procedure of Ziladar:

Step 1: Zilladar is eligible for promotion as Deputy Collector in Basic Scale 17 upon the passing of a Departmental Examination Test After some years.

Step 2: Deputy Collector, Basic Scale 17, is eligible for promotion as Canal Collector in Basic Scale 18 after completion of 05 years’ service.

Step 3: Canal Collector, Basic Scale 18, is eligible for promotion as Collector in Basic Scale 19 on selection cum seniority upon completion of 12 years’ service in BS 17 & above.
