Qualification: 

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), LLM will be given preference. 

Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience of handling legal matters as a practicing lawyer and 1 year bar enrollment. Experience of corporate environment will be given additional consideration.

Age:

Should not exceed 35 years

Responsibilities:

• Prosecute Gas Theft cases judiciously and expeditiously in Gas Utility Courts, high court and other courts, under Gas Theft Control Recovery Act – 2016 and related rules and instructions.
• Draft appeal(s) review / revision petition(s), reply para wise comments, written statements and also represent the Company in the constitution petition(s) filled by or against the Company before the competent court.
• Render legal professional advice and guidelines to the investigation officers and assist in preparation of cases.
• Keep the in-charge prosecution wing / law officer about the conduct of complainant and witnesses during the court proceedings.
• Prepare legal notices and recovery suites against Gas Theft Claim defaulters, and pursue these cases in the courts of law.
