Scholarship Hosting Institution: American University, Washington DC has organized the American University Emerging Global Scholarship 2019.

The American University Emerging Global Scholarship 2019 Scholarship Benefits:

Note: The scholarship will not cover non-billable expenses such as health insurance, airline tickets, books and other miscellaneous expenses.

Academic Qualification: The applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 or be among the top 10 of the graduating class in 9^th and 12^th grade.

Language Requirement: The candidates are required to have at least 95+ in TOFEL IBT, 7+ in IELTS, 600+ in paper based TOEFL last taken prior to May 31, 2017, or sub scores of 24+ on the paper based TOEFL that must be taken after May 31, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The applicants must belong to an economic and social background that is under represented.
2. The applicants must be enrolled in secondary or high school and must be graduating by June 2019.
3. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to leadership, volunteerism, community service and advancing the needs of people in their home country.

• The applicants are required to fill in the questions of the American University Emerging Global Scholarship 2019, which is provided here:

• The applicants are also required to submit a bank letter and American University Certification of Finances (AU CFIS) from, each of them showing a minimum amount of U.S. $4000.
• The applicants are also required to scan and email and submit their TOEFL and IELTS scores results to admissionsdocuments@american.edu.
• The applicants are required to submit their application along with the required documents by 15^th December 2018, Saturday.
• If you are applying via EducationUSA such as USAP, CCC, Opportunity Grants, Diana Kamal Scholarship Search, FLEX or YES High School Scholarship from the U.S. Department of States are required to provide a letter from EducationUSA centre’s adviser confirming your candidacy are required to send a letter to levinson@american.edu.

2. An application processing fee of U.S. $70.

4. Academic records for grades 9 – 12 with official transcripts and certified English translations for each secondary institution attended.
5. 2 Academic letters of recommendation
6. Demonstrated English proficiency certificates
7. Completed American University Certification of Finances (AU CFIS) form showing at least U.S.$66,717 for the 1st year of study and living expenses.
8. A bank letter showing that you have at least U.S.$66,717 for first year of study and living expenses
9. A copy of your passport information page.
10. Interruption of Studies Statement if you have already graduated from secondary school at the time of application.
